We're footballers. After every training our boots went into the bag wet, came out the next day smelling worse, and nothing we tried actually fixed it – sprays covered the smell for an hour, then it was back.
Bamboo charcoal was the first thing that worked. It doesn't mask the smell, it pulls the moisture and odour out of the boot overnight. No chemicals, nothing to wash, and one pair lasts a season.
So we made it simple: two pouches, one for each boot, drop them in after training. That's it.
